This Polynesian tattoo covering both pecs was prepared for Sergio as part of a bigger project covering also the full back and both arms, integrating some existing tattoos.
A hammerhead shark and a manta are on the right and left pec
respectively, protecting the couple in the middle (the bird next to them
symbolizes a new perspective on life).
They are surrounded by braids for unity, and by a sun made of mountains
for stability and joy, while ancestors are lined on top to bring
protection.
Other elements are spearheads representing a warrior nature, coconut leaves for prosperity, and birds for voyages.
The hammerhead shark goes past a path of Kamehameha to symbolize
tenacity in facing every challenge in order to reach stability and
success (the sun), while the manta has a Marquesan cross within it to
symbolize harmony and balance.
Octopus tentacles on the sides symbolize tenacity and adaptability.
