Mjolnir was the name of Thor´s hammer, and it´s often used as a protection amulet in Norse tradition.

It´s been made here with elements of Polynesian cultures that have similar meanings: the tiki is in fact a symbol of protection, and shark teeth are for strength and adaptability. Waves at the bottom represent a change in the life of Riccardo, who requested this design, which will lead to prosperity and wealth (fish hooks) under the tiki´s protection.

The warrior mask symbolizes facing challenges with courage, and the turtle shell is for the navigator.

The hammerhead shark motif on top symbolizes determination and tenacity in reaching his goals on every new start (korus).
