Left and right armbands are different, with three common elements: the sun (eternity, joy, positivity and success), the turtle (family) and a tiki (protection).

There are half a sun and half a turtle on each armband to symbolize that joy, and family, are only half if they are separate, and become complete when together.

We kept the right arm (stronger) for him, and the left one (closer to the heart) for his wife: the human figure in the center of his one represents him, the man, surrounded by a maorigram of his name Jakub and by spear heads (the warrior, strength, courage) with a sun around it made of mountains and islands (stability and the place to be reached); his wife´s one has a female figure inside, surrounded by a maorigram of her name Anna, with a moon made of waves (femininity, fertility) instead of the spear heads, and surrounded again by the sun.

The two tikis are positioned on the back of the arm, to guard them both.

His turtle has a seashell inside (love, intimacy, safe shelter), and hers has a koru (new life, descent) to represent she will carry their baby.

Inside the armband dedicated to Jakub we placed a hammerhead shark (determination and strength, protection), a manaia (the guardian angel, also a symbol of balance of the elements) and two birds chasing each other, representing they´ll always be there to help each other when needed.

Inside the armband dedicated to Anna we placed a traditional styled lizard (good luck), a small gecko (health), a shark (adaptability and strength), fish (prosperity), a manta (beauty and elegance) and a Marquesan cross (balance of the elements, harmony).

Both armbands include fish hooks for prosperity and abundance.

The braid motif inside the maorigrams represents union and family.
