This Polynesian turtle was prepared for Honza to symbolize his family and its members, whose initials are included as maorigrams in the center of the shell, flanked by braids to symbolize their union.
The head of the turtle is shaped by a bird chasing a second bird on the shell of the turtle, and they symbolize help and support always granted to the loved ones.
On the other side of the shell, the lÅkahi symbol represents the harmony that he feels when in nature.
The fish hook represents prosperity, while the tiki hands that shape the back flippers were included for protection.
